Benefits of yoga blocks and props!

Props, although not a necessity, are so important in your yoga & meditation practise - whether it’s bolsters, blocks, straps, balls, cushions, blankets, walls, don’t forget to use them, I highly encourage it in my classes!

β€Ί These props make poses more accessible to you so that you can safely enter and exist poses.. helping with your alignment and stability! They’re there to support you - some days you want to feel more supported in your practise and using props such as a yoga block will get you there! It makes you no different!

Props like a bolster in a restorative or yin yoga class are the perfect addition - adding extra comfort and relaxation to poses and meditation.

Yoga blocks also help you feel more supported in your practise by providing additional support: bringing the earth closer to you, elongating a limb or elevating the hips in a seated posture.
