It has changed my life and I’m thrilled I get to share it with you every week. I guide breathwork and meditation in all my classes to bring you back to centre, ground you and support your nervous system 🧘‍♀️

Breath work is breathing in a conscious, controlled and systematic way and it can either enliven/energise us (up regulate) or calm and ground us (down-regulate). I teach a lot of pranayama techniques which are the breathing techniques we use in yoga. In Sanskrit, prana means breath which is considered as our "vital life force," and yama means to gain control. So controlling your breathing.

Take a moment to pause and observe your breath.

Every time you inhale you are receiving life force energy (or prana.) By controlling your breath, you can control your nervous system. Bringing the body back into a parasympathetic state: rest & digest mode to heal, repair and grow 🌬️☉🧘
