Jas has stayed consistent week to week practising yoga with me! She began with me as a beginner, completely new to the practise (same as 95% of my clients). Within a couple months her form had completely transformed and improved immensely - she can now lunge so much deeper AND with ease, with her range at 70-80%, holding the poses for 3-5 minutes... insane.. It wasnβt easy at the beginning but she put in the work!
Using props such as yoga blocks in yoga makes you no different! Some days you want to feel more supported in your practise and using props will get you there - I use them all the time! She now has the freedom to go deeper and explore the pose further than before without the hesitation and the struggle (pictured at the bottom is lizard lunge) she can now practise stillness in these poses, getting the most out of her practise
Jas uses her yoga practise for both her mind and body βI am now more in tune with my mind and body - I listen to what they both need. Yoga has taught me to slow down and appreciate all my body can give. I have learnt that I am able to push my boundaries both physically and mentally, compared to before I began my yoga journey.β
She is so much more stronger in the lower body and overall her flexibility has improved SO much!
One thing I noticed about her aswell is she now takes direction in my classes. She trusts her body more and takes direction coming into the poses rather than just seeing how I get into them, love it!
